For the second consecutive year, a group of volunteers from Salem’s Relevant Life Church came out on an unseasonably warm Sunday in June to volunteer at CCPC. (Click here to see a post about last year’s work.) This happy and hard-working group painted, cleaned, did grounds work, and made repairs.
CCPC’s Executive Director, Debby Lute, had this to say about the group from Relevant Life:
Today a most amazing group of people showed up at CCPC, taking their church into the community, to love and serve others. Relevant Life Church showed up with 25 smiling, loving, hard working people who worked in incredible heat to help us with our projects. And we were not their only site. Many in this city were blessed today by their love and support. I only have tears of joy as I reflect on this precious day with these precious people. Overwhelmed by love!!!
At CCPC we are grateful for volunteer groups that help us in a variety of ways, to support our mission to compassionately serve youth and families. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us.
Thank you again, Relevant Life, for your service to our agency. You continue to be a blessing to us in so many ways! Scroll down to see more pictures…
