This past Sunday, we at CCPC were the grateful recipients of Relevant Life Church’s Outflow Day. On this day, the church closed down its regular services for one Sunday and sent its members out into the community to serve Salem.
The group of about 30 people who came to CCPC spent hours out in the sun (on an unseasonably warm day, no less) laying paths, creating flower mounds, clearing debris, and painting our rec room. They were hard workers with servants’ hearts. The CCPC staff who accompanied them that day had a fun time working together with them.
Thank you, Relevant Life Church, for your service, and for supporting our mission! We are always grateful for volunteer groups at CCPC, and we have plenty of opportunities. Any churches, groups, or individuals interested in volunteering are encouraged to contact us.
